Honey Butter Cornbread

1 c. yellow cornmeal

1 c. all-purpose flour

1/4 c. Cox Honeyland's Clover Honey

1/4 c. sugar

1/4 c. butter, melted

1 c. milk

1 egg, beaten

1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add honey, melted butter, milk, and egg, stirring until well combined. Pour batter into a greased 8x8-inch baking dish. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.
