Honey Beverages

Banana Yogurt Shake 

1 ½ c. 2% milk

2 ripe bananas, peeled

1 c. low-fat plain or vanilla yogurt

¼ c. Cox Honeyland Clover Honey or Huckleberry flavored Honey

1 tsp. vanilla

½ tsp. cinnamon

Dash of nutmeg

5 ice cubes


Combine all ingredients except ice in a blender. Mix until smooth. Add ice to the blender and blend until creamy. 


Christmas Champagne 

2 c. Cox Honeyland’s Raspberry Creamed Honey

2 pkgs unsweetened strawberry Kool-Aid

2 8 oz. cans frozen lemonade, prepared according to package instructions

2 8 oz. cans frozen orange juice, prepared with only 3 cans of water

2 28 oz. bottles ginger ale

1 10 oz. bottle maraschino cherries 


Mix Kool-Aid with 1 gallon of water and 2 cups of honey. Combine with orange juice and lemonade four hours before serving and refrigerate. Add ginger ale. Put mixture into a punch bowl with ice. Add cherries


Holiday Wassail 

6 c. apple cider or juice

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. whole cloves

1/4 c. Cox Honeyland’s Cinnamon Creamed Honey

3 Tbsp. lemon juice

1 tsp. grated lemon peel

1 18 oz. can unsweetened pineapple, cranberry, or orange juice

Cinnamon sticks

Orange slices and whole cranberries for garnish


In a large saucepan, bring cider, cloves, and one cinnamon stick to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for five minutes. Uncover and stir in remaining ingredients except cinnamon sticks and simmer five minutes longer. Serve in a punch bowl. Use cinnamon sticks as stirrers. Makes 16 ½ cup servings.


Honey Fruit Smoothie 

¼ c. Cox Honeyland's Huckleberry Honey 

1 c. frozen berries

1 banana

1 tsp. vanilla

1 c. vanilla or plain yogurt

Ice cubes (optional)


Combine all ingredients in a blender. Add ice if you’d like a thicker consistency. Blend until smooth.


Hot Cocoa 

1/3 c. skim milk powder

2 Tbsp. cold water

2 tsp. Cox Honeyland’s Clover Honey

1 tsp. cocoa

¾ c. boiling water

Dash of cinnamon


Pour milk powder and cocoa into a coffee mug. Add cold water and stir to form a smooth paste. Add hot water and honey. Stir until mixed. For a unique flavor combination, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or use your favorite flavor of Cox Honeyland's Creamed Honey.


Mango Breakfast Smoothie 

2 c. plain yogurt

1 tsp. vanilla

¾ c. orange juice, chilled

1 mango, peeled and cubed

1 tsp. lime juice

1 Tbsp. Cox Honeyland's Orange Creamed Honey


Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until combined. Divide between four chilled glasses. Garnish with lime zest. Serve. Yields four 8 oz. glasses.


Orange Julius

1 c. milk

¼ c. Cox Honeyland's Pure Clover Honey or Vanilla Creamed Honey

1 c. water

1 tsp. vanilla

6 oz. undiluted frozen orange juice

Ice cubes


Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add 10 ice cubes and blend until smooth.
