Holiday Wassail
- 6 c. apple cider or juice
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 1/4 c. Cox Honeyland’s Cinnamon Creamed Honey
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 1 18 oz. can unsweetened pineapple, cranberry, or orange juice
- Cinnamon sticks
- Orange slices and whole cranberries for garnish
In a large saucepan, bring cider, cloves, and one cinnamon stick to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for five minutes. Uncover and stir in remaining ingredients except cinnamon sticks and simmer five minutes longer. Serve in a punch bowl. Use cinnamon sticks as stirrers. Makes 16 ½ cup servings.
